kind appreciation and prompt response. Once again we here with some latest
updates regarding 2004 Han’s K2 clean up expedition.
on 29th June finally we got a
nice weather to climb up to high camps and set off our tents. 2004 Han’s K2
clean up team has started to move toward advance camp ABC 5500m and found out
a huge garbage including empty oxygen bottles, tins, plastic begs and some
poles of broken tents, after collecting these garbage Mr. Han send his 5 high
altitude porters to Base camp with the garbage and started to climb up to camp
1 with the remaining high altitude porters and his team consisting 5 very
professional climber including Han himself.
30th June Mr. Han has started
to climb towards camp 2 after setoff camp 1 at 6100m, while climbing towards
camp 2 at house Chimini Mr. Han found a lot of rotten ropes hanging with new
rope and due to these old ropes several accident have been took place in past
and many peoples were died. Mr. Han and his members and Pakistani high
altitude porters started to cut all these ropes and brought down to Base Camp
including 6 empty oxygen bottles, tins cans, broken tents and other stuff of
garbage.
 
2nd of July Mr. Han and his
team including M.G.P.O team has started to clean K2 base camp and found huge
garbage from previous expeditions, the remarkable thing is that the members
from other expedition teams were also participated to clean the base camp of
the savage mountain.
on 4th July the 2004 Han’s K2
clean up expedition has moved towards broad peak base camp to clean the base
camp and got a lot of garbage including tins cans, plastic begs, batteries and
other stuff, the expedition members at broad peak base camp were very happy
and appreciated effort by Mr. Han to clean base camp of broad peak beside
cleaning high camps of K2 and base camp first time in the history of Pakistani
high mountains.
Since from yesterday
afternoon weather has been changed and its snowing by time to time, therefore
now 2004 Han’s K2 clean up team is waiting for good weather to come and then
to start to clean K2 once again from Camp 3 at 7500m.
