Don't worry about Juanito Oiarzabal

The worst fears are confirmed.  Juanito Oiarzábal will suffer the amputation of some of the toes affected by frostbite.  Oiarzábal said it himself, during the visit payed by the Lieutenant Major of Vitoria, Miguel Ángel Echeverría, to the clinic of Maz de Zaragoza to ask for his health and to give him the fiestas handkerchief.  "Practically all the toes in both feet are going to disappear, except for the big ones", said the climber.

In the mind of Oiarzábal the mountain is still an obsession.  He wants to recover his physical condition as soon as possible, and he has an specific program of muscle recovery especially in the top part of his body and the frostbitten parts.  Afterwards, he will go back to the mountain.  "I know for sure that I am going to keep going to mountains and there won't be any inconvenience, even if they amputate what they have to amputate", he said.

Oiarzábal is expected to suffer the amputation of 8 toes. Don't worry about Juanito, he will be back!
