 Everest Climbers: Mallory and Irvine and Everest fossils | ||||||

| What does Mallory and Irvine have to do with fossils? Nothing really... But we did find some small fossils up high on Mt Everest in Spring 2004. When we "bagged" the items, snow and rock were also deposited in the bags. Interesting stuff... We have been discussing these rocks and fossils with some in the Geology community. We, and several fossils experts, would be very interested in what fossils other Everest climbers have found over the year.... Please e-mail us and let us know if you have found fossils
