  More Everest Dream Team Summits: Dream Everest Expedition


More Everest Dream, Team summits!

The following additional 1 Member and 2 Nepalese high altitude Sherpas of "Dream Everest Expedition 2004" mountaineering Team, have been successful to scale 8848 meter high Mt. Everest on 24th May 2004 at 08.00 a.m.

Name of Summiteers

1.      Mr. Noriyuki Muraguchi (48 yrs), Company Employee, Kanagawa-Ken, Japan.

2.      Mr. Furba  Sherpa (45 yrs), Namche 4, Solukhumbu, Nepal.

3.      Mr. Thurkten Dorji Sherpa (36 yrs), Namche 7, Solukhumbu, Nepal.

Ten members "Dream Everest Expedition 2004" Team was permitted to climb Mt. Everest from South East Ridge for the period of seventy-five days from 25th March 2004 under the leadership of Mr. Robert Huygh from Ternat Belgium.

Earlier News: Apa Sherpa, summits Everest for the 14th time!

This morning we received phone call from the base camp that Apa Sherpa reached the summit this morning 5.45. Other team members of Dream Everest are on the way to summit, we hope very soon we will have the news.

Mr. Apa Sherpa (43 yrs), Sirdar of "Dream Everest Expedition 2004", permanent resident of  Namche-7, Thame, Solukhumbu, Nepal has been successful to hold the World record of Climbing 14 times on Summit of World highest Mountain Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest) on 17 May 2004 at 5.45 AM.

Ten Members "Dream Everest Expedition 2004" Team was permitted to climb 8848m high Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest) from South East Ridge on 25th March 2004 under the Leadership of Mr. Robert Huygh, Salesman, Ternat, Belgium.

04/24 Mt. Everest 2004: Dream Everest Expedition

The Dream Everest Expedition is a commercial expedition of Asian Trekking, which is organized each year during spring season. The Dream Everest Expedition 2004 has 6 climbers. They are:

                     1. Mr. Robert Huygh, Belgium
                     2. Mr. Willy Trouch, Belgium
                     3. Mr. Nikalos Magitsis, Greece
                     4. Ms. Kalpana Dash, India
                     5. Mr. William Zachery, USA
                     6. Mr. Noriyuki Muraguchi, Japan

Three of the above members are also climbing Lhotse. They are Mr. Nikalos Magitsis (Greece) and Mr. Noriyuki Muraguchi (Japan).  The third Dream team member planning to climb Lhotse is Ms. Tamae Watanabe, the oldest woman to summit Everest in 2002.

The Dream team climbing leader is Mr. Apa Sherpa, and if all goes well he will summit Everest for the 14th time.

Latest News 4/22/2004: climbing sardar, Pasang Tshering Sherpa phoned that they were the first team to establish CIII this season.  Most of the members are resting at base camp.
