Jean-Christophe Lafaille: Makalu 2004 with photos

Hi EverestNews.com, News from May 27th, 2004 Translations by Fabienne for EverestNews.com: I went to Kodari with our children in order to meet Jean-Christophe on May 26 by  surprise. Kodari is at 4h30 road from Katmandu at the border with Tibet. We found him on the bridge of the friendship with deep emotions in this surprised reunion!! We have then joined Katmandu by Jeep all together. Jean-Christophe is still tired by his ascent but he is all right. Here a small outline of the way which he opened at Makalu 2 (Kangshungste through these photographs as well as the exact layout of the way and its name "Katia and Tom"....), I am deeply touched by this attention that Jean-Christophe makes to Tom and me... I let you discover by image a small outline of this way splendid, impressive, committed and extremely difficult...
