|  Update 5/19/2004: Alan Hinkes, the 12th 8000m Beater of Britain has successfully bagged the 13th 8000er: Mt Dhaulagiri I on 17 May around mid day with Pasang Gelu Sherpa. This is his 13th 8000 meter peak... Cheers to Alan Hinkes, bikrum pandey, Alan's KTM Agent reporting for EverestNews.com Alan Hinkes Update 4/26/2004: Bikrum Pandy reports that Alan reached base camp on 22nd April but due to heavy snow fall he has been unable to start his acclimatisation process. Hopefully the weather will improve soon and we will have more substantial news but word from the Himalaya is that all is well and Alan is fit and raring to go.
