| Autumn Mt Everest 2004 in Nepal: No expedition has paid any deposits on Everest permits for Autumn Everest in Nepal. We were told others reported that expeditions were planning to attempt Everest from Nepal this autumn, however we know of none that are confirmed for autumn 2004. On the Tibet Side of Everest, a Dutch Team will attempt the mountain. Rumors about others attempting from the North are not confirmed to date... The Dutch team is Werner de Jong (expedition leader) with another climber joining the expedition... They are currently in KTM, making the way to Tibet when possible...
