Autumn Mt.
Everest 2004: The Dutch are at base camp...
|
 |
 |
Update 8/27/2004: The team has arrived at base camp at
5200 meters. They climbed to
5500 meters, some are not feling the best, which is normal. "Therefore we take
just as a pause to recover.", Waerner reports. Boris returned to the
hotel, about 1000 meters lower. When he feels better, he will returns to BC.
The plan is on Sunday to go to 5800 meters and Monday to go to 6400. The plan
is therefore perhaps postponed, a day because of yaks.
