Update 4: Mexican-Canadian Mt Everest Expedition 2004 lead by Andres Delgado what a story... a must read...

Update 5: I am going to be a few days at Base.  I climbed yesterday up to Camp 1 with one of the Sherpas who are fixing the Khumbu icefall.  It was really neat, they accepted me in their group, I helped carry ropes up to 6,000 m., they were very happy.

Update 9: Tomorrow, we will climb to sleep at Camp 2.  We will spend four or five nights up there.

Update 10: Andrés and the rest of the members of the expedition installed camp III on April 20, at 7,3000 meters above sea level.

Update 11: Andrés, Luis (Libretón), Richard, Martin and Tom are again at Camp 3.

Update 12: April 27, 2004: A few hours ago, the leaders of 10 expeditions had a meeting to agree on the installation of fixed lines between Camp 3 and Camp 4.  The meeting was called by the American expedition of Dave Breashears.

Update: On the 19th the entire group climbed (Alejandro, Juan Pablo, Luís, Tom, Martin, Richard and I) from Base Camp up to Camp 2.  The journey must have taken some 5 hours.  As always, the Canadians have left before the Mexicans, so when we arrived to camp 2 we found them resting there. update

Update: Our last information is that Andrés got on top of the Geneva Spur very close to the South Col at 7900 meters.
