Update 5/13/2004 NEWSFLASH: Andres Delgado is moving out in front of the pack... He is attempting to summit without oxygen. As he asked, pray for him. It is going to be dicey... By the way, Andres was there in 1996 too... Earlier update below
After a brief but deserved break in the town of Dingboche, we have come back to Base Camp in a hurry, because of the presence of the so much waited window of good weather. It looks like the opportunity will be open for us between May 15 and 17. We plan to leave on May 12 from our Base Camp and attack the summit on the night of the 15th and early morning of the 16th.
