|
 |
 |
Update 6: Following on
from a satellite call today, Pat reports that the team has now returned to
Base Camp Wyeth following a successful night spent at Camp One last night and
an initial carry and recce to a height of 21,300' / 6492m, the site of Camp
Two.The three
climbers, Pat Falvey, Clare O'Leary and John Joyce are acclimatizing well and
feeling better that any of them would have expected at this point in their
tedious climb and preparations for a summit bid on Everest in three to four
weeks or so. The weather has been generally good but with some snowfall on
each of the past few days. Con Ó Muircheartaigh
