Homecoming of Everest Summiters: Pat Falvey and Clare O' Leary: Mt. Everest 2004: Irish Expedition

Pat, Clare and John left Ireland on March 17th with the ambition to climb Everest. Both  Pat and Clare succeeded in achieving this ambition, Clare was the first Irish woman to stand on the Summit and Pat is the only Irish man to have summited from both North and South sides of the Mountain. John Joyce had to return to Ireland earlier in the expedition suffering from altitude sickness.

Pat Falvey and Clare O'Leary will be arriving at Cork Airport on Saturday May 29th at 10.00. I'm sure they will share their feelings of what it was like to stand on the summit of Mount Everest.
