| On May 31st, SummitClimb leader Dan Mazur was in ABC, with the part of his team that just reached the Summit also in ABC. However, Keith Spencer on the SummitClimb permit, but climbing independently was believed to be on the North Col or above wanting to make a lone push to the top... The INTERNATIONAL II EVEREST EXPEDITION 2004 SPRING had climbers still on the mountain including the Brazilians Coelho' annual trip! Also we were told Ivan Valchev had joined this team and was at base camp, and was supposed to come back with the team, but did not. He is expected back soon.. The Russians still had 3-4 people on the normal route... A couple of others foreign voices (non-English) were being heard on the radio... You might get that June 1st summit this year! Expect delayed reporting...
