  Weather and Everest 2004


Looks like many are going for it tonight. Some climbers seem to have a weather forecast saying it was to be great weather tonight and yesterday. Our forecast, we have been receiving, called for winds of 60-65 mph yesterday and decreasing to around 50 mph today. The wind does start and stop of course... Unclear, if those climbers up high are getting updated forecasts.

We were told yesterday that David Breashears and Ed Viesturs turned around going from camp 3 to camp 4. No news if they went later or where they are at this moment. The other question is how far their army of Sherpas climbers made it.

Many others climbers lower on the mountain. On the North, most climbers at ABC. See other reports for details....
