The climbing Legend Norbert Joos summits Lhotse for his 12th 8000 meter peak.

Norbert Joos summited Lhotse, Saturday, May 15th. He is very happy about his 12th 8000 meter peak. In 2005 he plans to get number 13! Mt. Everest! He is on the way back to Kathmandu and he will spend few days in Malaysia with his partner Renata. We congratulate "Noppa" Joos and wish him all the best for the next expedition. But first, he plans to organize a trekking to Tilicho in autumn 2004.
The climbing Legend Norbert Joos summited Makalu in 2002 for his 11th 8000 meter peak. In 2004, he plans to get number 12! Lhotse.

Norbert and 4 friends are going to Lhotse this spring to attempt the west face. He is leaving Switzerland on April 11th and should arrive in Namche on 14th.
