Tashi Sherpa's Sherpa Adventure Gear has built a company that recognizes the legendary, intrepid Sherpa, and offers superior outerwear, apparel and sleeping bags developed from the combined experience of hundreds of treks up Mt. Everest.

The Sherpas are a remarkable people who have served as both high-altitude porters and skilled technical climbers of difficult terrain for decades. But despite their matchless abilities and work ethic, they have received little pay or recognition for risking their lives to support others in their climbs and expeditions.

Sherpa Adventure Gear was born from a desire to change that, utilizing a business concept that combines social responsibility with economic motive. Each Sherpa summiteer signed on with Sherpa Adventure Gear receives a royalty, and proceeds from the sale of each item will go to a fund for the health, education and welfare of needy Sherpa children in Nepal. Our business creed also dictates that we work only with factories that are fully compliant with internationally recognized labor practices.
