Dear EverestNews.com finally we
are very glad to break down the news that the most famous Pakistani climber
Nisar Hussain has remarkably scaled the most arduous mountain K2 at 0630hrs
local time on 27 July, 2004- the second highest peak in the world 8611m – this
is the first time after a big gap of ten years to reach the summit of the
savage mountain for any Pakistani climber. After this remarkable achievement
Nisar Hussain becomes the youngest Pakistani K2 Climber.
25 yrs old Nisar was born in
a valley of Skardu called Sadpara in 1979. Nisar started mountaineering when
he was just a 15 years old boy. He has got ten years of successful carrier in
mountaineering and has summitted his first 8000 m peak (Gashabrum II 8035m)
when he was just 19 yrs old. Beside K2 he summitted Broad Peak 8047m, Hidden
peak 8068m and Gasherbrum II 8035m (which he summitted twice).
Especially, on the occasion
of the Golden Jubilee of K2 it is indeed a remarkable achievement and a
rejoicing moment for all the Pakistanis.
