K2 North - What to do?

Have a Birthday Party, of cource!

Fabio Agostinis, climber and member of the National Alpine Assistance Corps and Speleologist, is 48 years old today.  The entire staff of K2-2004 expedition team is participating in wishing him a happy birthday from Base Camp at K2 North Side. Happy Birthday Fabio!

Today is Fabio Agostinis turn; our expedition leader is 48 years old today.  His will be the last birthday we celebrate in the course of the expedition this year.

August 3, a Leo by sign (star sign) and in fact, especially now that he has a long beard, he seems to have a true “mane”, blue penetrating eyes, which laugh all on their own, a contagious smile which makes him immediately likable, a man with a lot of charisma. By nature he takes on responsibility, often paying the consequences.

A great cook, he has made us dream of the appetizing smells of our homeland, sometimes with but a few meager ingredients. Thanks to him, today is a holiday and we will want for nothing: antipasto, a first and a second course, a dessert rigorously baked “in house” or rather “in tent” and above all, drinking the last provisions of our excellent wine.
