K2 2004 recon mission reached today K2 base camp. The weather was snowy and the group’s shared feeling was that of being in a historic place were 50 years of expeditions have taken place.

K2 2004 recon mission reached today K2 base camp. The weather was snowy and the group’s shared feeling was that of being in a historic place where 50 years of expeditions have taken place.

Mountaineers have chosen the best place for Casa Italia to be set up. This is the pyramidal tent where all K2 2004 will be able to meet and rest during the long days spent at the foot of K2.

Best places for the tent where videos and images will be broadcast will also have to be decided.
