 Chinese Pakistan Joint Expedition summits K2 | ||||||

| Update: It was announced by the Alpine Club of Pakistan success of Pakistan China Joint K2 Expedition. Seven Tibet Chinese Climber of the Expeditions namely Mr. Tse Ring Dorji, Mr. Ben Ba Drashi, Mr. Loze, Mr. Dra Shi Tsering, Mr. Ben Ba Dhundrup, Mr. Phu Bu Dhundrup alongwith Two Pakistani's Mr. Nisar Hussain and Mr. Muhammad Hussain reached the summit of K2 at 0630 am on 27th July 2004.

K2, aka Godwin Austen for the Chinese, is the second highest mountain in the world. The Chinese wants to be the first to summit K2 this season.. China Tibet Mountaineering Team has summited all the 14 8000 meter peaks, except K2, G1, and main summit of Broad Peak. Sangzhub is the climbing leader this time. They have many climbers with 8 or more of the 14 800 meter peaks.
