Alfred Schreilechner Broad Peak and K2 Expedition 2004 update 6

Update 6/11/2004 Urdukass: We have been getting up at 5.30 in Payu, after a Rooster (travel food) started shouting at around 4.00. During the night weather was getting clear. We had a magnificent view upon the Trango Towers, Uli Biaho Group, Broad Peak and Gasherbrum 4.

Update 6/12/2004 Gore 2: We have been getting up again at 5.00. The weather is beautiful and the landscape like from a fairytale. At 10.00 I have already reached our goal for today, Gore 2 at an altitude of 4300m. The afternoon I spent hanging around and curing the small pains of some porters.
